Yesterday we got to enjoy Chrissy Field with friends and good food. Unfortunately it was to say good bye to one of our good friends, Isaac. He's leaving us for the east coast. It was great to see some college people I haven't seen in awhile. Also stuffed myself full of hamburgers and hot dogs! Too bad my nose is red, probably a combination of a sun and wind burn.
Happy Friday!!! Can't wait until happy hour. And the Giants game!!!! Whooooo!!!
Today is the birthday of my youngest brother Bradley and my cousin
Noah. Happy Birthday! I was lucky enough to spend Easter with Noah and
the rest of the family - except my youngest brother Bradley (He was on
vacation with my mom and dad).
Here are some pictures from Easter brunch and celebrating Noah's birthday.
So I usually don't drive to work. Luckily, Grant drops me off to work on his way to work. But today, he is working from home, so I have to drive to work.
I tried to leave my apartment earlier than normal, so that I can find free all day parking. It is quite limited around here. But luckily I know most of the spots to look for free all day parking. So I drive around the usual spots and nothing....I must have gone around the block 3 times...then I see some guys moving a recycling bin off the street, but I've already passed them. Then I quickly drive around the block to try and get the spot...but this d-bag cuts me off, just to get the spot. By this time I'm a little peeved, because I've been driving around for 15 minutes just trying to get a spot.
I drive around one more time, thinking I'm going to have to actually PAY for parking (I hate doing this, seeing as how early I get to work)....then finally I see this guy walking to his car....SCORE!!! All day parking achieved. Thank goodness.
Last night I had the pleasure of watching Nicole Atkins perform at the Independent. I wish I would've brought my camera! I had never heard of her until my Uncle introduced me to her music. It was awesome watching her sing live and seeing her band play. It's fascinating to see how much better watching a live show is compared to just listening to the CD. She even mentioned that she was sick, I can't believe she performed that well. Can't wait until she comes to San Francisco again.
